I'm still here. Sorry for lack of updates and other news.
Hey everyone. Time really flew and I can't believe it's been half a year since my last update. Sorry for not following up here like I should have and said I'd try to do. This took a back burner again in the last recent couple months. As the last update stated I was starting to work through and hopefully do a last sprint and just get this thing finished, and technically Level 11 is pretty much releasable but I decided to just finish the rest and release Level 11, Level 12 and the ending all together. I'm going to admittedly just do the bare minimum and just get this thing out and get it done it will probably show in the final product but that's ok, the story will at least come to a completion and it will still be a technically completed game. I had planned on making more quests and other little extras but I'm probably not going to at this point. This is/was my experimental project that I did for fun and for experience but I'm pretty much over it and RPG Maker in general right now and ready to move on so that brings me to my next exciting piece of news info...
Over the course of the last couple months I've already been working on the next project that will either be a prequel, sequel, or parallel universe of this game in an entirely new game engine called "RPG Architect." If you haven't heard of it please give it a look and support the dev and the new engine because it's going to likely blow RPGM out of the water when it's finished, it's in EA now but looking for a 1.0 release in the near future. I won't post too much about the engine here right now but look it up and consider purchasing it, you can make pretty much any kind of game with it, and yeah there's a learning curve to it but it's mostly intuitive and there's a lot of video tutorials and a large wiki and a great Discord community to help you familiarize and learn the engine.
Anyway, The new project will likely be called "Labyrinth of the Found" and it will likely be a first person 3D blobber using many Time Fantasy Pixel Assets. I will likely post some screens of the new work soon-ish as there's plenty to show right now. As far as when I'll get "Maze of the Lost" finished, I don't know, right now I'm working with the new engine and the new project but I do want to get it done so may go back and forth for a while. I half thought about remaking it in RPG Architect but it's so close to being finished in RPGM that it would be dumb to do so at this point and better off just finishing Level 12 and the Ending in RPGM and then focusing completely on RPGA and the new project.
Anyway, I hope everyone is well. Thanks for reading and the support. Take care.
